Are there any difference, or just two names for the same thing? Mange-tout are eaten when the pods are still relatively flat, sugar snap can be eaten when the peas inside have swollen to normal pea size. -- Kay |

Sugar snaps look like ordinary peas but are cooked whole - pod and all, though they can be podded but if they are very full they can be quite fiddly to open. I much prefer the sugar snaps. If you prefer growing fairly short plants read the seed packets, some varieties are very tall. |
