Phalaenopsis amabilis
Hi,
Does anyone know if Phalaenopsis amabilis and P. 'Tiasuco Snow' are one and the same? The flowers of both orchids appear to be identical. MD |

As you probably know one is a species and the other a hybrid, if the latter was a variety of P.amabilis it would be written so. (e.g. P.amabilis "Taisuco Snow") There are a great many "Taisuco" Phals about, obviously the breeders name. I think for a definitive answer you need to contact experts like McBeans Orchids ... http://www.mcbeansorchids.co.uk/ Regards Bob. ps. note spelling of Taisuco. |
