It's very bright and sunny and the air is still, barely a breeze. when things go to the plan, its good now till november IMHO, (when I plant some broad beans). Then its walking in the hills time until spring and I start planting next years veg later than I intended. :-( I've given up on broad beans - I have a box full of fodder beans gleaned after the harvest, and I just plant thickly a patch of these. They are smaller than broad beans, but otherwise the same, and crop much more heavily. Hills, though, are in fairly short supply round here.
