Planting rhododendrons time?
 

I said I'd post a question here for someone who knew no of newsgroups,
so rally round folks, and he may well be inspired to join us...

Which time of year is best for planting rhododendrons? Yes, he knows all
about ericaceous compost for them, and, the rhodos will be
container-grown.

If evergreen, spring, except in mild sheltered woodland gardens when it
does not matter. main problem is desication during cold windy weather.
