I will be posting your seeds tomorrow to those who requested them, so
keep a look out for them. For Pete C the C.Lucifer will also be
posted and I will pop in some seeds for you too Pete, they will look
lovely in your garden. If anyone else wants some white Datura seeds,
let me know as I have more than I can use, (low growing).p.s. Janet
(Tweedy), did you say you wanted some, if so, could you let me have
your address again, as you know my computer was out of actiont some
months ago and I lost a lot of stuff.

Well, we had dogs in Africa (many people did and do), thorn-apple
and even more poisonous plants grow everywhere, and I have never
heard of any killing themselves that way.

Of course, if you specialise in the Palin breed of pit bulls, I
can easily understand your concern :-)

Regards,
Nick Maclaren.

Think that was me Janet, but dont worry, as Judith sent me some corms, which
are now snugly thinking about growing big for next year! Thanks anyway!

Loved the pics you sent me Pete, you have really worked hard on the
lottie, I have never seen such an undergrowth. It would be good, if
like, Muddy Mike, you continued taking pics at regular intervals so
that we could see the progress?

I put on surgeon's' gloves to handle them Nick as I am sure that the
poison can be transmitted through the skin? How would you assess the
risk of that?

They do really well on stony ground Shiela. What I like about them is
that they are low growing and need no support, and, that beautiful
bell shaped enormous flower, the smell is divine at night.

My Lucifer have gone crazy this year, when digging up some for PeteC,
one corm had at least 10 new corms clinging to it. A word of advice
to Pete and Sheila, plant them very sparingly because in just one
season they will multiply.

It's Remembrance Day.

Correction it's Remembrance Day long weekend.

Yes, of course, it's Rememberance Day tomorrow and the French make
what they call a "bridge" by having today off as well. Do you want
any Datura or C. Lucifer Martin.

No I just don't grow Euphorbia and stuff. Most things in excess will be
poisonous but some, especially the touch ones I just avoid. Mind you
Juniper always gives me tingling skin on my hands so maybe I should
consider the once avoided plants? I gave away a datura grown from seed
plus a, oh I forget, something like Datura but rarer.............

Oh now I feel incredibly lazy for not digging them up sooner. Sorry! If
Judith's fail I'll have your address to hand and you only have to ask
again!

Janet, I too cannot touch Juniper!!!! I get a very fine rash wherever
it touches me.
