Most people have him kill filed so they don't see him anyway. He's
infested
a few other groups where the same kill filing has been done. To get
attention he has to resort to doing all the things he berates other for
doing. He's a figure of derision.

You're right, Sacha. It's a pity he doesn't stick to gardening; most of
us
would be prepared to respond in kind, and more kindly. Wonder if he'll
ever
learn?

Spider

Not a prayer. He thinks he's funny and that people actually listen to
him.
Perhaps he prefers to be known for being thoroughly disliked than for
nothing at all.

Then I shall know him for nothing at all.

I think ignoring him or the kill file really is the best
answer.

'Mike' now ceases to exist. Quiet here, isn't it?! :~)

Agreed. For some reason he does this with most of his replies - makes them
very difficult to read for those who want to read them.

Before criticising others for "lack of newsgroup education" I think he
should learn to post correctly himself.

Mike - please learn what a SIG SEP is and how it should be used in
newsgroups !!

That is really funny Kate, considering that he was trying to tell us
all how to post properly!
I really don't understand why he persists in this way. Surely no-one
can really *enjoy* being a figure of scorn and derision?

Perhaps top posting would be better for my Hero Worshipers who wish to
respond and not take note of the superb advice I give.

Now let's see if dross cutting is the order of the day.

I think it's a little early in Northern climes to cut the dross, but
I'll be overhauling my mower soon if it stays mild.
Wish I'd done it when the dross stopped growing last Autumn.

In the dim and distant past, when I was still hoping for some sign of
intelligent life, he told us that he didn't do any gardening.

So, put that paving slab back before he crawls out again.

Oh, I dunno.

He probably fits into the S&M groups quite nicely, or vice versa.

Has anyone noticed the great reluctance to snip postings to just the
relevant remarks?

Never. People prefer to keep the whole message so that the meaning
is not changed or manipulated.

It seems that some people are incapable of cutting all but the important
bits, the bits they are replying to.

You can also ignore messages or delete them. No one forces you to read
anything.

Why?

Why what? See how moving words or deleting others can change a
message!

Lack of newsgroup or forum education?

There is no such thing. Don't confuse a forum and a newsgroup.

Possibly not knowing how to do it!!!!!

Do what?

All to keen to shove fingers to keyboard and poke out a one line reply, but
not too keen on what the person thinks about the dross they have to scroll
down through :-((

You idiot! You talk about education and don't even know when to use
"TO" and "TOO" correctly.

You look and see what I mean.

That dos not make any sense.

See if I am not correct....

correct about what?

......once again :-((

You sound like a confused pensioner, the type that drives a Nissan Micra.

Kindest regards
