Default Ping Tim Perry - John Innes advice on keeping pollen viable for a year

Recently there was this statement:-

Tim Perry;811782 Wrote:
Hi All, can anyone advise me on the best way to store pollen for up to 1
year, and keep it viable. Please.

Thanks for ALL the help and advice.

Finally got all the info I needed within half an hour
of e-mailing the John Innes Research Institute.

..........................................

(The date of this is rather uncertain, some of the headers indicate
September last year, but I remember it was only a few weeks ago)

I lost track of this thread, and I don't think I'm the only one. What
are the secrets of keeping pollen for a year?
