Well I am much more inexperienced and untrained and I have lost my specs somewhere but I agree, however I must say I am not familiar with the variety. You will be pleased to know you could hardly find anything easier to grow from seed or tubers. |

I never lift them and they survive!!!!! Mind you, not a shoot is showing yet but we had a vicious winter. Judith |

My second reaction was that it wasn't a natural colour, but a dyed plant. Might be wrong, though. Spider |

I hesitate between chrysanthemum and Dahlia but I tend more towards Dahlia only because of the coloration and how it's formed. -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com Shrubs & perennials. Tender & exotics. So - I'll do my best to describe this and maybe others can correct or add. No leaves are visible which hinders ID of Chrysanth or Dahlia. If it IS a Dahlia I'd guess it's what's called a medium sized Decorative. I say this with supreme ignorance. The body of the flower is white or possibly pale lavender but has a pink/red flush to the petals at the base which doesn't appear to follow up to the tips or centre. Unfortunately, the flowers photographed seem to be dying off which may affect their colour register in the photo and we have no view of the centre. -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com Shrubs & perennials.
