Spring here already?

My Moroccan broom thinks winter is over and has decided to flower again.

Callistemon citrinus 'Splendens' is doing its thing all over again and
immediately behind, Jasminum polyanthum is a mass of large, fragrant,
white bloom. The brilliant scarlet of the Callistemon is accentuated
by the white of the Jasmine and they are both glistening in today's
intense sunshine. They weren't planted together originally, but the
Jasmine has romped over from the other side of the gate and it's a
very happy partnership.

Didn't think you had winters down there in Dorset, Hugh. Surely Bournemouth
doesn't allow such things! (Spoken as en ex-B resident.)

Evershot is, as you prolly know, the 2nd highest village in Dorset.
B'mouth is near the warm briny. Weather in these parts is extremely local.

BTW, it was only 7.1C last night.
