The subject is a slight exaggeration. Anyway we all know the first apple tree
was in the Garden of Eden.

No we don't. The tree was of the knowledge of good and evil. No mention
is made in Genesis about an apple tree. It's tradition that holds that
it was an apple tree. Equally tradition holds that it was passion fruit!

Very former if it was Biblical! I think the pomegranate because it
has always been an artistic symbol of fecundity and after they ate the
fruit of the tree of knowledge, Adam and Eve lost their innocence. ;-)

How Adam got Eve - nothing like a good bible story to make your day!

Adam was hanging around the Garden of Eden feeling very lonely.
So, God asked him "what's wrong with you?"
Adam said he didn't have anyone to talk to.
God said that He was going to make Adam a companion, and that it would be a
woman.
He said, "This pretty lady will gather food for you, she will cook for you,
and when you discover clothing, she will wash them for you."
"She will always agree with every decision you make and she will not nag
you, and will always be the first to admit that she was wrong when you have
had a disagreement. She will praise you!!"
"She will bear your children and never ask you to get up in the middle of
the night to take care of them."
"She will NEVER have a headache and will freely give you love and passion
whenever you need it."
Adam asked God "What will a woman like this cost?"
"An arm and a leg!"
Then Adam asked "What can I get for a RIB?"
And of course the rest is history.......

Maybe he foresaw Moses being in denial.

And thinking of the Nile, we have an absolute mass of that bulbous
floating water plant on one of the ponds. It's increased so much over
the spring and summer that we've been pulling lots of it out to clear
enough space for the fish to swim in! Is anyone else over run with the
