Default Identification needed please

A person on another (non gardening) forum has asked what they are, he lives in Canada but has been told they are not native but come from the UK. thanks in advance

Looks like Birds-eye primrose, Primula farinosa, confined to limestone areas in N of England. Was looking at hundreds of them earlier today.
