Default Hand Cylinder mower reccomendation

Hi,
I am looking to buy a hand ( or battery power) cylinder lawnmower.
Have looked at cheap ones like the Handy and Challenge, but I am wondering
about the Brill Razorcut or AL-Ko soft touch.
Both these boast contactless cutting. Is this a con or is is a real
advantage?
Would like to hear from anyone with experience of using any cylinder mower.

Thanks

Tim
