It's brass, so getting pickled eggs, On!ons, etc out of the jar is a
non-starter too.

taking boiled eggs out of egg-boiling water?

Why the dead-sharp points on the wirythings?

Way too many of them as well. Overkill.

Howsomedever, I did consider that it might lift poached eggies out of a
sorsepan - when done the porper way in water, salt'n'vinegar stirred
furiously to molish a vortex into which th splonch the egg.

Bloggi has asked about, and the wotsit is a gadget for loading a
sock-molishing chamine with woolly loops.

I've got a sock-molishing chamine in my house, and all you do to load
it is give it a ball of yarn, 4 short needles or one long flexible one,
and a big bag of crisps.
