White Christmas

Just wondering ...

Go back 6 months (or however long you want to go back before the
current spell of wintery weather).....

If you were asked then would you like a White Christmas would you have
voted "YES" or "NO"?

BE HONEST!

I would have voted no. This is because I have to travel to my brother's
house on Christmas Day, and hate driving in/on snow.

Can't answer that because I just don't want Christmas at all :-(

I *hate* Christmas !

Christmas will be like any other day in this house - dead miserable.
Upstairs with my mug of cocoa and my copy of "Bleak House".

Bah Humbug !!! :-(

Yes, but then I always love snow as long I've not to go anywhere.

But not to much until later on on xmas eve when everyone who is coming
will be here, then it can chuck it down :-)

Not that we seem to get any snow here (middel of Cambridgeshire).
Everyone else seems to have it coming out of their ears, we've just a
sprinkling

Yes, I'm the same. Last winter was lovely, a month of frost and snow, instead of the long grey drizzly days we've been used to in recent years. And the last batch of snow, even though we only had about a foot of it. Sadly, this lot has passed us by - we have about an inch, enough to look pretty, but that's it.

I'm struggling to keep the greenhouse above freezing, though! There's a limit to quite how much I want to spend on electricity.

A definite NO! We've had enough of the white stuff for this year.
