Default sterility of Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' (Snowball Tree)?

Viburnum opulus 'Roseum' produces an inflorescence composed of a ball of
sterile (asexual) flowers, rather than a flattened inflorescence with
sterile flowers flanking fertile ones. Is this cultivar absolutely
sterile, or does it produce the occasional fruit?
