Has anyone come across, or even tried a patio cleaner called Hero? It
comes in a sprayer and cost me, I think, £3.99. It says just spray it
on and leave to dry. Hey presto, cleaned slabs.
No way.
It is quite useless. I've tried it on 2 slabs and challenge anyone
to tell which ones they are. One has had 2 applications, the other 3.
I'll be on the money-back trail next week.

I've not read the small print. A friend read out the instructions, as
my eyes don't do small print easily.

I use Patio Magic on my natural stone patio, gets rid of all moss and green
mould, two applications spring and autumn. It is £19.99 but worth every
penny

Possibly the dead algae are still going to be there until something
(rain, hose) washes them away... I suspect it's slightly misleading
advertising in that it shows a sequence of pictures but nothing to
indicate the (variable) time scale or other things (like rain)
happening between them.

It seems to be ok at killing the green slimy stuff (which then becomes
grey-black dirty stuff until it's washed off) but it's definitely not
a "cleaner". I read one review that says "Advantages: Not sure . . .
easy to use??? ! Disadvantages: Doesn't appear to work."

I get better results without chemicals with a pressure washer!

I will endorse that last statement ;-)

Tried the KleeneZe Patio Cleaner too :-( KleenZe stuff is usually quite
good, but even with a 'soak and leave' application, it was the pressure
washer which did the job in the end :-))
