Comfrey

Hey i purchased 5 comfrey root cuttings from ebay now nearly 3 weeks ago

they arrived as basically dry dead looking sticks, so i planted them anyway and nothing has happened at all 3 weeks later. the soil is compost from b and q and its not overly watered.

am i doing somthing wrong? will it grown in spring time? should complain?

Cheers

Nate

Hi crazyninja,

The fact that the root cuttings were dry and dead looking is not a good sign, If you want a good comfrey plant to cultivate.

I would suggest Blocking 14, as its seeds are sterile so therefore will not invade your plot or garden. It is also a herb which bumble bees favour for its pollen,
