Default Rain, Rain and yet more B.... Rain

Rain, rain and yet more rain, that's today's weather, and the wind
gusting to near galeforce.
Glad we had to go to the Dr then do some shopping, it's not the
weather to try to do anything outside, and it doesn't look any better
for thenext few days.
From what is most definatly the wet end of Swansea Bay.

Been quite sunny but windy here all day, rain started about an hour ago and
is blowing with it. First significant rain since I put one of the
translucent sheets of the veranda back in place and it is watertight :-))

Rain - if only we had some, all our trees are looking like
they are dying here in North Wilts. Rain is predicted, but
always seems to stop south of the M4.

And worst of all, lots of drying wind.

Try tighter jockey shorts to lift your butts

Seriously, it still amazes me how being at the other end of the bay
from Dave makes so much difference. We had some rain overnight. Rain
not too heavy but a lot of gusty wind. This morning the rain continued
intermittently but the wind died down. From about 11 am it was dry,
almost sunnyish, until the rain returned at about 4 pm and it's been
on and off since, though not that heavy. No real wind at all.

Cheers, Jake

URGling from the less wet end of Swansea Bay where about the

No significant rain here in Herefordshire for months now. Fortunately
our piped water comes from Wales. Plenty rain there apparently.

Well our rainfall for yesterday here at the wet end of Swansea Bay was
0.8 inches, so far today it's sunny and the wind has vanished for a
time.

Yorkshi plenty of rain this summer. But the last two days the sun has been out, the garden is glowing with berries and autumn leaf colours, and I no longer have 'flu. So life is good!

We managed 2mm overnight. Last week of the month and we're barely up to
half monthly average for October.

Finally had some rain in Herefordshire after about four months with
virtually none.
