Stevia sweetening plant

Hello
help wanted to trace seeds or plants of Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni

There is much information on Google about the plants behavior

Sadly not any information on where to buy plants or seeds

It would seem that the plant is a godsend to those on diets

I have also searched the Chilterns Seeds no luck

Any information gladly received T.I.A.

Hardly! Like over sweetened diet drinks it will not remove ones sweet tooth
just perpetuate it. So as soon as they come off their diet they will be back
on what ever caused them the problem in the first place.

Any report I've seen from people who've tried to grow it says that the
germination rate for seeds is around 30%. Plus it's only a half hardy
perennial and may take a year to grow to a decent size when you can
cut substantially from it.

Cheers, Jake

It has a very unique flavour to it but I don't think it tastes bad at all, and watch out, do not add too much stevia powder at one time - it is super sweet so you only need a tiny bit
