"I wasted ages yesterday trying to talk with Mike Crowe. He wants to
ban any
more house building on the Isle of Wight. I simply want to know where
my
children and grandchildren and their grandchildren will be able to
live if
no more houses will be built. I think thats a reasonable question dont
you?
All he does is go on about what will happen if all the green fields
are
built over but he doesnt say how long that would take. Of course he is
OK
because he already has a house that was built on a green field. Lots
of
other people joined in but Mike wont listen to anything they say or
answer
any of their questions. He just goes on and on with the same old stuff
even
when someone has dis-proved it.
I did a little web search and I found that Mike has lots of arguments
with
people in uk.local.southwest and uk.rec.gardening so I am posting
there to
ask you. What I want to know is, is he a real person or just a troll.
How do
you get him to answer a straight question without getting all this
stuff
that tries to avoid the question and change the subject, and all those
silly
faces (((((((. He says he was in the Navy, but I think if he behaved
like
that on a ship he would be taught better manners. I dont have a lot of
experience of these groups so I would be glad for advice. Should I
just
ignore him."

You know I don't see what MC posts but this guy Steerpike is no better
and is also in my killfile. He only crops up now and again to
criticise MC. In the post to which you've replied Steerpike refers to
doing a search on the arguments MC has had in this group. Steerpike
wouldn't need to do that if his previous posts are to be believed. So
another troll type.

But on the positive side, my little Victoria Plum is leafing like mad
though no sign of any flower buds yet. The other unknown little thing
that I thought might be a cherry certainly smells of cherries so I've
potted it on and will see what transpires.

Hope it's not too cold for you.

Cheers, Jake

Our Victoria Plum is laden with blossom. Never seen so much on it. If it all
comes to fruit, we will be having branches break.

I agree, but if you treat Mike ok, I think he will be a real asset to this
group. He does know some stuff.
Steerpike is the troll I think, having gone back a year or so and read his
posts.

Thanks - checked back and now Steerpike is also in my killfile.

Must have missed the information about your Victoria Plum.
Gah! Senility! I even replied several times.
I've just planted one which is looking quite happy but at 2m tall I don't
think it is little.
Then again it wasn't £1.99
Glad your is doing O.K. :-)

Wrong................crowe is someone who has been trolling usenet
groups for decades! As well as the trolling he also commonly suggests
he is a mason, teaches prisoners in IOW jails, and has served in all 3
of the armed services.

Those who have met crowe are often of the view he is very similar to
the Harry Enfield character, who is always telling others how to do
things..................from his usenet posts, I think they certainly
have a point......................lol

Ask Sacha how he contacted her suppliers and pretty well stalked her.

And that is apart from the lying and libellous remarks over several years.
Anyone who thinks Crowe is trustworthy or an 'asset' can only learn the
hard way and also end up in kill files, imo. My husband seriously
considered contacting the police at one point.

crowe has actually gone as far as committing criminal offences in the
past, having orchestrated a long running hate campaign, which was
designed to suggest an enemy of his had been convicted of child sex
offences!

However people like crowe are generally very cowardly, and when he
became convinced that the police were likely to become involved, he
offered a grovelling apology on here, and also denoted a small sum to
a charity of his victims choice.

As well as being a coward, crowe is also a liar and a cheat, and in
the past has been involved with various schemes to gain money under
false pretences (generally from elderly people!). Curiously he has
also frequently claimed to be a mason, but I would imagine this is
simply a crude troll, as he appears to know very little about
freemasonry to wind up those who might be uncomfortable about the
operations of the English mafia.

You are scum mike and from the way you have behaved on here in the
past, its quite astonishing you seem to be trying very hard to suggest
something else entirely!

Anyone who claims an innocent person has been convicted of child sex
offences, then goes on to post their personal details on here, really
does seem to be getting very close to the bottom of the barrel, and
maybe deserves to be shunned by anyone who is not also a vigilante/
loony themselves?

Doesnt surprise me in the slightest that you have attacked others on
this NG for no good reason, as you seem to all intents and purposes to
be a keyboard warrior and have ably proved yourself to be a coward, as
you quickly recanted your claims about child sex offences (which had
been going on for nearly a year!), as soon as you became convinced
that the police were looking into your own real world
crimes..................

Well you would say that wouldn't you?
