Feeding the Daffs

As the forecast is for rain late afternoon I decided to give all the
daffs and other bulbs a feed, wanting the rain to come and wash in the
fertilizer, so far it's remaining dry.
I just hope that the fertilizer doesnt burn out the bulbs where it's
lodged in the leaves.
Threw a bit around some of the shrubs as well, just for good measure,
they must have had a shock as they havn't had a feed for a few years.
David @ the rain free end of Swansea Bay.

What fertilizer did you use? I fling some wood ash and dried chicken muck
around mine.
They don't seem to appreciate it.

I use potato fertilizer 14 : 14 : 21 or something similar just not
to much nitrogen
