Aren't the former more usually called Senetti now? There's that blue, a
vibrant magenta and a deep purple, that I know of.

More than likely, they have changed their name more than once and I haven't
grown them for over 30 years so I am not exactly up to date!

If I'm right, then they've had a re-birth and are extremely popular
annuals now.

I thought that "Senetti" were just a strain of Cinnereria
Davis @ the wet end of Swansea Bay, though at present enjoying
suncshine.

The genus Cineraria still exists, but florist's cinerarias have now been
renamed Pericallis. Some botanists have called them Senecio which is the
name used in my edition of Reader's Digest Encyclopedia of Garden Plants and
Flowers.
