Blackcap
 

About 3 years ago I saw a male Blackcao here, nothing since.
Till today when I saw a male blackcap just outside the window when I
was on the phone, then about 2 hours later even closer (But still just
outside the window) there was a femalew with a beak full of either
insects or nest lining material, so with luck I'll be seeing a lot
more of them in the comming weeks.

A blackcap has been singing his lovely song in my garden since 1st May. I
haven't actually seen him though. I get them every year so I assume they
breed somewhere in my garden, but they don't seem to overwinter here like
they do in some places in the UK.

For a few years we had one around here every spring but I haven't seen any
in the garden for two years now.
