Cuckoos
 

Having read posts by some on this group that they haven't heard any
cuckoos in England for years, I was surprised this morning at about
3.45, and before the rest of the dawn chorus got going, to hear a cuckoo
calling here in Caversham. It lasted at least half an hour.
