Cold? or just a bit chilly?
 

Wearing winter clothes in the garden today. Very cold, my nose was running,
my ears were cold as ice.
Burning some of the last of the wood to keep warm in my bike shed now. I
though I had enough wood to burn well into autumn. Not so.

On the plus side, err mm can't see one today. A very strong and cold wind
started an hour or so ago, goes slack, then starts up again.

This is June for us.

jeans & a cotton shirt. But it's not the kind of day you hope for in June,
certainly!

Where are you? I'm over in Essex, and after an hour or so poking around the
garden and the cooler greenhouse, I had to strip off the sweatshirt. It was
much colder yesterday.

Don't say that! I just planted out my butternuts (finally!). Still haven't
had the nerve to put the sweet potatoes out, saw the forcast for the week and
told them to unpack their bags for a while longer.

I hope he's got a better day for it up there than we have down here.
Veddw doesn't do tea and cake so I can imagine Jake sloping off to
Chepstow for a warmer! I don't think Anne's expecting a huge influx of
visitors today!

One wonders if people simply dont care about the long term effects of
unrestricted pollution of the planet, and that the majority are likely
to suffer so the few can continue to generate enormous profits,
ultimately at the expense of pretty much everyone else?

Is it that the majority are simply too stupid to see whats going on,
or that they feel doing anything about it is way beyond their control?
