I started my courgettes in pots and then planted them in the ground on
heaps of soil mixed with chicken muck.
They went crazy. I couldn't keep up with them and the round type are
still fruiting as we speak.
The long green ones grew into marrows in 10 days of not picking in time.
My hens had to eat some.
