David I have been saying this for ages, it's even in the 'rules and
regulations', but as it was ME saying it, the stupid ones would ignore me,
HOWEVER, as it is YOU, they might take notice :-)

Chucking it down with mizzle here on the south east coast of the Isle of

I had to look up "mizzle".

It's brilliant sunshine here in Cheshire but very cold.

and Devon. When my wife worked in the Legal Department of the County Council
she worked with a wonderful lady from Devon who came out with it. I also
seem to remember it from when I was in Devon during the war

The term "mizzle" is commonly used here in Leics. It's less than drizzle,
it's what covers you with wet when it's foggy. That's mizzle. Not actually
raining or drizzling but the air kind of wets you. Does that make sense?

That's what my mother called Scotch Mist.

Judith doesn't see the quoted text because gurgle gropes hides it in its
standard web view, I think there is a setting or button to press to show
quoted text.

When you reply it is included despite the user not being able to see it
and folk with actual newsreader software see it all. Or at lest I think
that's what happens, not being a gurgler myself.

Mizzle is mist and drizzle merged to make one word.

Well, yes!

Mizzle's a great word. It's like an onomatopoeia of weather.

Depends on whether you're trying to achieve a particular shape to your
thread, or just to encourage new and healthier shoots to appear.
