Good Climber To Replace Dead Wisteria
Not really Bob, No expert on Wisteria, inherited it 6 years ago when it was
doing fine. Suspect lack of water, very dry here at times last summer. "Bob Hobden" wrote in message ... As to what to replace it with, do you want deciduous or evergreen? If the latter, have you thought about Clematis armandii (in one of its many cultivar forms)? It is hardy enough for an east-facing wall in Suffolk. and having scented flowers fairly early in the year is a bonus. It is also a really fast grower. -- Jeff |

And good old Holboellia - scented flowers in May or thereabouts and evergreen. Or my major favourite Clematis rehderiana if it will take winters there? -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com South Devon www.helpforheroes.org.uk |
