If the Met Office is to be believed, we'll all be back to normal tomorrow. I read somewhere that a top-level gathering of scientists had concluded that our odd weather (particularly sodden summers) of the last few years was down to a cyclical warming of the Atlantic that would settle down in 10 years or so. Thanks folks. That presumably means we're in for sh*t weather for another 10 summers. -- Cheers, Jake ======================================= URGling from the other end of Swansea Bay where it's unusually just like Dave's end, only better :) |

Well, maybe you should consider moving to a place where the weather has been /really/ hot (scroll down to the bit about "Talkeetna"!)... http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...06-19-03-12-32 -- Jeff |

I have a hopelessly inefficient personal thermostat, so I feel the cold quickly and too much and ditto the heat. But it's easier (to me) to cool down than to warm up! -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.com South Devon www.helpforheroes.org.uk |
