We're just back from a few days at the lovely Nare hotel in
Veryan-in-Roseland and have greatly admired their garden. I'm hoping
someone from Cornwall can explain to me how on earth they grow a
flourishing garden just feet above a very wide, long bay and with no
shelter belt! Most of it is open to the wind that surely must blow in
there in winter. Or is there something magical about winds avoiding
that area?! We can understand that it's mild enough for Agaves to
flourish outdoors but would have expected most/many things to be
shredded regularly. Apparently not!

Are our impersonators trying a new trick? "Sandra" Hubbard and a
different email address but with Sacha's sig file?

No Jake, me on my laptop which is a new toy and probably not properly
set up. Sandra is what I was christened but haven't been called for
about 50 years!

I was wondering the same.

Who is Sandra Hubbard?
Why is she using Sacha's sig?
Is she related to Sacha?
A suspicious person might interpret the post as being thinly disguised
spam on behalf of a certain Cornish south coast hotel. Is it?

No! It's a genuine question! We kept looking at this great garden
display and wondering "how do they do that?" In an earlier post here I
did say we'd be going to Cornwall but I rarely - as in 'never -
advertise our actual absences!

The style is certainly Sacha's and she hasn't posted for a few days.
Her real name is Sandra.

It's certainly a fake. I imagine we can all guess who might think
they're funny...! I think I've set the laptop up properly but will
experiment later.

One might ask the question "why are you using hers?". Of course, it's
almost certain that there are many Sandra Hubbards in this world, but
in view of the context, it is unlikely that you are one of them.

Sorry - what on earth are you talking about?
Are you saying I have no right to use the email address
"sandra.hubbard "
Seeing that Goggle says that there are 140,000 references to it, then an
explanation would be nice. Has someone registered it as their personal email
address?

I always find people who jump to such conclusions quite sad myself. It is even
sadder still when they have not the whit to see that they are the guilty party,
and the action they take is just what was hoped for.
