That Atriplex

we saw at Blackpool Sands has been confirmed as Atriplex halimus. The
owner emailed me with the full name and says that it's very
salt-tolerant and has to be cut back every year so as to leave the path
clear. It's a beautiful shrub.

Yes it does look good especially for a salt tolerant plant too.

It really is terribly pretty, though apparently, it's never flowered
there. We've had a very kind invitation from the owner of Blackpool
Gardens to go on a tour of the garden with him, something that we'll
enjoy very much.
