Default Helios dwarf French bean

I grew this for the first time this year. It's a heritage variety sent to
me from my German friend, I think she gets unusual varieties from a seed
bank in the Netherlands.
It cropped really well and as the name suggests (helios, Greek for sun) it's
yellow. It looks very startling on the plate.
I'm saving a plant for seed, the seeds are totally black.

I'm not sure why it dropped into the heritage range, it's a great performer,
unless maybe the colour of the beans was too strange and not appealing?
I love it and hope my seed saving works.

Tina
