I need a new propagator. The last one has fallen apart after at least 30
years. Where do people suggest I should look for a selection of good ones?

Depends on how big you want it.
I'd make one with soil warming cable and thermostat.

I agree, then you have it as big as you like, and almost unbreakable,
just keep the sand moist when in use
