Yes and to you too.

Blowing hard here on the Isle of Wight. 4 of the ferries have been cancelled
by two still going. art of the family came this morning, waiting for some
more to come, should be on the next ferry out of Portsmouth if they are on
timetable.

Best wishes all round and if you have to travel, take care, trees are
falling all over the place.

Happy Christmas David and to everyone else. It's been blowing great
guns here and hurling horizontal rain at us, too. We hope that it's
dying down a bit now because the other half of the family still to come
is already delayed an hour. Mind you, for others it's a very great deal
worse than that!

Happy Christmas from here too, and to all urg. Long may it live!

Bit of a blow forecast here too, (gusts expected at 85-ish if it holds
true), with 40 mm of rain. Lots of publicity for this one in France,
which probably means it will fizzle. Having learned to take no chances
with the wind, shutters are closed and all battened down. May be a bit
of a problem shopping for Christmas dinner tomorrow afternoon, though...

Jersey to Exeter flight has been cancelled and the fast ferries have
been cancelled. Only the 'slow' boat is going which arrives and departs
from Portsmouth. I don't envy anyone on that tonight for 7 hours or so.
