Dahlia in flower on Xmas day
 
Took a few of pictures of the tree dahlias yesterday, the Imperialis
which had flowers on on Xmas eve looked so sorry, but the other species
one D. Tenuicaulis still had flowers that were not to bad considering
80mph gusts on boxing day.

So I've had my dahlia in flower on Xmas day, outside.
David @ a still dry side of Swansea Bay, but not for much longer

Our D. imperialis outside had buds on but they never flowered, so yours
did well to get that far, sad or not!
