Default Gardening and Hellebores

Yesterday I managed to get about 2-3hours gardening in! It was lovely
to get outside and do something useful. I have a lot of Hellebores, so
my main job was cutting away last year's leaves (complete with black
spot) and generally tidying them up. Quite a few had strong basal
flower buds, which was so exciting and an enticing promise of Spring.

Today the weather has been foul: howling winds and lashing rain, even
though it was about 9*C in the afternoon. I so wished I could get out
again! I shall be keeping an eye on the weather forecasts and making
the most of any dryish weather. I'm way behind with my weeding and leaf
clearance due to the return of a back injury, which is much better now.
