Duck Egg

My daughter's pond attracts anything up to 25 - 30 Ducks. Some nest on the
Island in the middle and in years past have produced chicks, however, an egg
was laying on the path today. Is it edible? It's in the fridge at the moment
as it was very cold when I picked it up!!

Put it into water, if it sinks it's OK
If it floats it's bad

It sank, but then I would expect it to as it must have been laid this
afternoon.

Have a look at it for breakfast! ...... ;-)
