Just for the fun of it, we planted a spud in a large plant pot and kept it
earthed up and watered. It has flowered and looks healthy. Question. At what
stage/state/condition do we "harvest the crop"?

I feel sure some of the Glow Worms on here can give me the answer.

Depends on the type.
If it was an early then we have all ours up and eaten already, if it's a
second early then we have them up and in a sack in the shed.
If it was a main crop then leave until the hulms die down.
