Looks like hedgehog to me.

The little bitty things will be the wing cases of beetles.

Too big for rats. I'd suggest hedgehog.

Too big for a mouse, large side of rat, too small for hedgehog. The
coin is a penny not a crown. B-)

I'd go for rat, is it dry and crumbly?

What it is definitely not is a frog dropping, last year I was mowing
the lawn, spotted a frog, who would not move, he was busy, and
finally left his calling card.

Thanks everyone for the responses, seems most think it's hedgehog. I feared it might be rat as they are in neighbours gardens recently due to blocked drains, I sighted one on the drive a few months ago, council pest control thought it was heading to a neighbours who has bird feed out.

Don't really fancy touching it to be honest lol, I only noticed it yesterday but I think it's a few days old by the texture
