Default Keeping Potatoes

Morrison's' have got bags of 'Unwashed Potatoes' at £2.00 a bag. (Not
weighed but about 28lb) We bought a bag of Desiree and the are beautiful.
Question. If I go and get another couple of bags and keep them in the garage
how long will they keep. Paper Sack type bags about 24 " high with a sewn
seam and carrying handle.

Did look at them in Morrisons this morning. A bit unsure as
several of the bags were wet in places.

I would open the bags and check for any damaged/rotten ones,
then store in a couple of hessian sacks.

Mainidea is to kep them quite cool, and definitely out of the
light.

Sorry, did not answer the main question.

If you can store them lightless and cool, probably a couple of
months or so.
