Several years, at least, if kept dry. That's true of all bean
seeds.

Yes. It's OK, but not the best of the climbing blue beans, which
are our preferred ones. But the differences are small.

worst I have EVER grown; or not grown;.

Yeah,should be, as long as reasonably freshly purchased, not sitting in
the cupboard for years and years (as long as they aren't things like
split peas).

Though not all will be suitable for growing in the UK. But you can
always sprout them, lots of beans sprouted are nice.

If you have varieties that you cook then just take out half a dozen
seeds of each in the spring and try them.
Some may need a warmer climate than ours but then with a year like this
one they may well grow for you and crop.
Won't cost much to try.

Yes! I will do that. I mostly cook Cannellini so I will try them, unless
