Default Winter's here

Very wet, very blowy here on the South East Coast of the Isle of Wight.

Pots blown over.

Leaves everywhere.

It's called Autumn.

B-) 1.5" rain Saturday morning, another inch this morning.
Noticeably windy but only F6 (25 mph sustained). Sharp ground frost
on Thursday morning with an overnight low of 4C.

Yep, Autumn has arrived. Maybe a two/three weeks before the first
snow.

Thank you... ;-)
And same here in Normandy. We had to start the oven yesterday, today is
much warmer but there is continuous authentic drizzle.

Once in winter, in Germany, a radio presenter commented the news about
snow falling everywhere like this: “In the past, what is nowadays
a snow-catastrophy, had been called quite simply *winter*.”

Cheerio,

Michael
