I hope I'm allowed a tiny boastette! There's a four page article about
Hill House Nursery and Raymond in this weeks Amateur Gardener (October
23). The photos were taken in summer but you're never sure an
article's going to be published until it is!

Something you wrote was published in the RHS magazine too.

There was a letter from me about Metrosideros a while ago. Do you mean that?

Yes.

Ah yes, seen that one. It was a folllow up to an article/feature about
them a while before. Raymond has them here so we thought we might be
able to contribute to the sum of all knowledge. ;-)

Very nice to see Ray's work being recognised, Sacha.
But I did cringe at seeing the great Roy Lancaster being referred to as
a "TV gardener"!

And perhaps next time they could feature the cakes as well?

RL did present a tv programme but I agree, I queried that one with Ray,
too. But we didn't write it, promise! I'm afraid the cakes didn't get
a look in but perhaps I should have mentioned the lime and passionfruit
one to fit in with the exotic plant theme. ;-)
