Have a great day. If your weather is like ours this morning, you will be
out in the sun. :)

Yes, have a lovely day, Sacha. It's just as well your birthday is in
January. If it were in July, Ray would probably ask you to postpone it;~).

How really kind! Many thanks to all of you. It was a lovely day, and
even the weather behaved itself pretty well. Two of my children, one
grandchild, one son in law and two step-children joined us for a lovely
Sunday lunch at a favourite local pub and there was a birthday cake for
tea!

Actually in Paris for work until Thursday (and for the march yesterday),
but my spies tell me it's a bit blowsy at the farm... warm at least!

I left some little live oaks in pots out (the pretty Quercus rhysophylla
along with myrsinafolia, gilva, phyllyreoides) so I hope they wont get
too scattered...

Cheers,

Hope your Oaks survive Emery.
I remember having about 50, all potted into 3" pots then 1 frosty night
the mice hit them, dug them all up for the acorns still on the stems.

Tragic. I hate mice with a passion.

These are already done with their second year, all looking good except
gilva which ironically was the one I wanted in the first place!
