Accelerating growth of late bulbs
Don't know if anything can be done, but: my wife bought two planters
full of bulbs in B&Q yesterday, for a pound each. The planters contain a bag of compost and three types of bulbs (crocuses daffodils and tulips). Is there anything I can do to help these bulbs "catch up"? (They should have been planted weeks and weeks ago.) Cheers John |

Plant them ASAP and nature will do the rest, though don't expect a great crop of flowers Next Year, the bulbs will use it to revitalize themselves. |

You won't be able to keep them in the pots after this season. Plant them in the garden and feed them to help build up the bulbs. -- Spider. On high ground in SE London gardening on heavy clay |
