OT(ish) preventing moss in lawn
 
Just to mention that, looking at out back lawn, you can see the areas
where we have walked to and from the shed at the bottom because the grass
is darker green and there is no moss.

Unwalked areas a thick with light green moss.

I hadn't realised that walking on grass over winter helped keep moss down.

It's not just winter. Moss is much more sensitive to wear than
lawn grasses.
