Prunus cerasifera
Yesterday when we went for lunch at the Beefeater, the place I came
across Cherry Plumb tree (Prunus cerasifera) growing last year, I noticed that they were already in flower so I doubt they will find any pollinators at this time of year. David @ a very wet side of Swansea bay |

David @ a very wet side of Swansea bay A few days ago I saw a small bumblebee (or could it have been a mason bee? Both more likely than a large honeybee!) around, so there may be other insect pollinators. But I am sure there will be some frosts later which will damage any set fruit. -- Jeff |
