Finally some frost

Looks like we are in for a spell of cold weather with bits of snow
scattered about.

Perhaps this will slow down the early sprouting/blossoming and perform a
bit of winter hygiene.

It might stop the damn grass growing for a while, as well.

At least we are getting some nice sunny spells.

Cheers

Same here in the lower area of North Midlands, though sadly it is due to
end tonight with heavy rain.

We've yet to see a sub-zero temperature here this winter. Last night

Not surprisingly, that is entirely different in Cambridge, though
we have not yet had a hard frost. Last night was c. -5, with hoar
frost still present at 10 am.

Just back from a long weekend in Oxfordshire, where the weather
was lovely and suny, but heavy overnight frosts.

We've had snow on the Beacon's for the last week or os, not
sure what it was like over the wekend, but there is snow on
them now!

I found myself driving into Cambridge yesterday with snow on the car.
None in the city, so it must have looked odd. (We're 400ft up)
