Burning hedge cuttings etc
This is on an industrial premises. Are there any laws that say I can't use an incinerator to burn the clippings from hedges etc? This would be done in the evening when the estate is deserted so no neighbourly complaints. |

It's only illegal to have a bonfire if it causes a traffic hazard or creates a nuisance to neighbours, and even then, they have to get an abatement notice issued by your local council. If you continue to create a nuisance with bonfires, you can be fined. See http://tinyurl.com/l7pau6b Thanks, just that you don't see many fires these days and with the issues of getting rid of cuttings from industrial premises it seems an easy option. |
