Default Plant ID?

I saw this growing in a wood near us. It seems a bit out of place. Any
ideas please?

That's pheasant berry. It is planted as gamebird food and cover by
shooting estate but spreads widely from the seeds, which rapidly make a
large bush (perennial, though not long lived). Handsome berries and
birds love them.

Thanks very much - a very quick response. I rather like it - I'll try
and take a cutting when the weather isn't so hot.
